Fuji Offset Plates Manufacturing Ltd1 is principally engaged in sale of aluminum offset plates, trading of related industrial chemicals for the printing industry and investment holding. The Company operates through three business segments. The printing plates and cylinders segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of aluminum offset plates and printing cylinders, and trading of related industrial chemicals for the printing industry.
The ice-skating operations segment is involved in the operation of ice-skating rink and other related businesses. The investment holding segment holds long-term investments. During the year ended December 31, 2006, printing plates were sold to export markets, including India, Nepal, the Philippines and Hong Kong. The Company's subsidiaries include Fujiplates Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (100% owned), Fuji Printing Cylinders Pte Ltd (100% owned), Fuji Ice Palace Pte Ltd (85% owned) and Fuji Roto Gravure Sdn Bhd. (65% owned).
