ASL Marine Holdings Ltd1. (ASL Marine) is a vertically integrated marine services group principally engaged in shipbuilding, shiprepair, shipchartering and other marine-related services, catering to customers mainly from Asia Pacific, South Asia, the Middle East and Europe. It owns and operates three shipyards in Singapore, Indonesia (Batam) and China (Guangdong) providing a range of shipbuilding and shiprepair services spanning myriad sectors/ industries. ASL Marine specializes in building tugs, barges, offshore support vessels, work vessels, emergency response and rescue vessels and tankers. Equipped with a fleet of more than 150 vessels consisting mainly of tugs and barges, ASL Marine provides shipchartering services to various industries, including offshore oil and gas, marine infrastructure, , coal, building materials and general cargo. In July 2007, ASL Marine announced that its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, Abadi Two LLC, was dissolved.

- October 7, 2008 - ASL Marine subsidiary wins $101m contracts - ASL Marine Holdings said yesterday that its wholly owned subsidiary, ASL Shipyard Pte Ltd, has secured new shipbuilding and fabrication contracts worth a total of $101 million. The shipbuilding contract for a self-propelled cutter suction dredger is secured from a long-term customer. The scope of shipbuilding works includes the installation of certain equipment to be furnished by the customer and it is expected to be completed in 2011. The contract works are expected to be completed in August next year. Revenue from the new shipbuilding contract will be recognised over the contract period based on the percentage of completion method.
