Its wholly owned subsidiaries include G. K. Goh Nominees Pte Ltd, which is engaged in nominee services; G. K. Goh Strategic Holdings Pte Ltd, which is engaged in investment holding; G. K. Goh Financial Services (S) Pte Ltd, which is engaged in futures and foreign exchange broking; G. K. Goh Capital (S) Pte Ltd, which is engaged in credit facilities services, and Ample Echo Limited, which is engaged in investment holding.

In May 2006, it acquired Ample Echo Limited. In August 2006, it acquired 20% of Eastern & Oriental Berhad. On March 24, 2006, it sold Nexgen Financial Holdings Limited. In October 2007, it announced the setting up of a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore namely, Calamus Pte. Ltd., the principal activities of which is investment holding.

COMPANY HISTORY

The G. K. Goh Holdings Group originated from the creation by Mr Goh Geok Khim in 1979 of a Singapore stockbroking company. When G. K. Goh Holdings Ltd was listed on the Singapore stockmarket in 1990, its businesses comprised solely stockbroking companies operating in South East Asian markets. As the business grew, investments were made in related financial services and business outsourcing companies.2
